Ganpati Chaturthi Festival was observed on August 22 and today is the fourth day of the festival. Everyone is celebrating this festival with a lot of fervour as some welcomed Ganpati Bappa home with love and happiness, including Pavitra Rishta fame Ankita Lokhande who also brought the Ganesh idol home. As the celebration continues, Ankita now was seen performing Mahalaxmi Pooja and Gauri pujan at home. The festival falls on the fourth or fifth day after Ganesh Chaturthi every year. On this occasion, Lokhande took to her Instagram account and shared a bunch of videos where she is seen arranging certain things and decorating the pooja place along with her mother. 
 
In the video, the Manikarnika actress is looking extremely gorgeous in a maroon saree while giving a nice Marathi touch to it as she wore a nathani with her attire. Pulling her hair back in a nice bun, the actress looked stunning. In another post, she shared a series of pictures and selfies with her mother. While sharing the videos, she wrote, "Mahalaxmi pooja #Gauriganpati God is with us." As she welcomed Ganesh idol, she shared a video and hashtagged #GayatriMantra4SSR a global prayer initiative which was started by Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti on the same day. "Welcome home Bappa. Bappa tu sab jaanta hai. You and I share a very special bond Bappa. Coming back to the Gauri Pujan, it is considered to be an important festival of Hindu Women where they worship Mata Gauri. According to Hindu scripture, it is performed by both married and unmarried women, where married women pray for the long life and well being of their husbands, the unmarried women perform for getting an ideal husband.
